Penderyn Distillery, founded in 2000, marked the return of whisky-making to Wales after more than a century. Located in the Brecon Beacons National Park, it uses natural spring water and a unique Faraday still to produce high-strength, smooth spirits. Penderyn has since expanded with new distilleries in Llandudno (2021) and Swansea Copperworks (2023).
